Morgan was one of the actors in the film that provides information Safe Sex for Men and Women, which focuses on AIDS prevention and awareness. A portion of the profits were given to American Foundation for AIDS Research. She serves as a member on the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan also led other fundraising initiatives and gave a testimony on a Congressional panel about AIDS awareness. In addition, she was the host of an AIDS Awareness Special along with Steve Bell. Morgan has been on Nightline alongside Ted Koppell regarding AIDS. Morgan has been nominated by the Emmys for Diane English's Murphy Brown special written especially for Morgan. In the spring, she appeared alongside Joan Rivers on ABC's Your Money or Your Wife. Summer began in the form of Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner. Marla Gibbs and Cindy Williams also appeared. Her next project took Morgan to Luxembourg in which she appeared as Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in Harmony Gold's production. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also in the show. Morgan also played in the psychological thriller "The Leading Lady" created exclusively for USA Network. This thriller was a huge success and earned the top ever ratings for that network.
